Commercial electrical panels & transformers in Houston

Commercial power work has to account for the equipment, available voltage, panels, transformers, and the way the business operates. E.S.H. brings those pieces together before the work begins.

Plan around the business

We plan the electrical work and sequence it around access, equipment, and operating hours.

Service questions

Helpful answers before you call.

What should I send before calling about commercial electrical work?

Send the property address, equipment nameplate photos, panel or transformer photos, available plans, the problem to solve, and any limits on access or downtime.

Can a subpanel add capacity for new commercial equipment?

A subpanel can add distribution space, but it does not automatically increase the capacity of the upstream electrical service. The source, feeder, existing demand, and new equipment load must be considered together.

Why might commercial equipment need transformer work?

A transformer may be needed when the building’s available voltage does not match the equipment. The equipment nameplate and existing electrical system show what is required.
